David Cazares

Officer David Cazares has worked at the Syracuse Police Department for five years. In the past few months, Officer Cazares was doing surveillance on a home due to drug activity. When a car left, the driver made several traffic violations, and Officer Cazares pulled him over. The K-9 unit detected drugs, so the car was searched. 6lbs of meth were recovered, along with other drugs.

When Officer Cazares isn’t on duty keeping our community safe, he is with his family or doing target practice at the range.
