The Syracuse Arts Council wishes to thank everyone who participated in our Virtual Costume Contest last month! Congratulations to all the winners and a big thank you to our prize sponsor, Econ Mortgage.

We invite you to attend our monthly meeting that usually meets the first Wednesday of each month at 8 p.m. We are currently meeting on Zoom and you can go to our website www.syracuseutaharts.org for details. Individuals wishing to make public comments will be limited to three minutes each. You may also send ideas or comments to: info@syracuseutaharts.org and your email will be read to the council.

Due to COVID-19, and state guidelines for city entities, which we must adher to, we have had to put performance, practices, rehearsals etc. on hold. BUT we are pleased to announce that for the month of December the SCAC will be having a Virtual Reader’s Theater of “A Christmas Carol” where the public can participate. It will not require any face-to-face time; it will be done online and streamed. The date and details about how to be part of this event will be announced as soon as possible on the webpage listed above.
