
On October 12th, the council met and took the following actions:
- Adopted an updated Storm Water Management Program and Water Conservation Plan for Syracuse City
- Amended the Parks Advisory Committee ordinance to create an alternate position
- Gave advice and consent for the appointment of Jackie O’Shea to serve on the Parks Advisory Committee as an alternate
- Authorized execution of an Interlocal Cooperation Agreement with Davis County for a Pollutant Discharge Elimination System, which is necessary to operate our storm sewer system
- Provided final plan approval (an administrative decision) for two developments:
a. Aspire at Canterbury, at approximately 2376 West 1700 South, a townhome development
b. RC’s Parkwest Subdivision Phase 1, at approximately 1693 West 2700 South, a mixture of townhomes and detached single family homes
The city council generally holds business meetings on the second Tuesday of each month, with non-voting work sessions held on fourth Tuesdays. It generally does not hold meetings on the fourth Tuesdays of November and December, due to holidays.
