A group of Syracuse residents has filed a referendum petition seeking to refer the City Council’s adoption of the General Plan to a vote of the residents during a special election in 2020. In response to the referendum petition, the City is required to prepare a Proposition Information Pamphlet in accordance with the Utah Election Code. This Pamphlet can be found on the homepage of the Syracuse City website, www.syracuseut.com. Before signing the petition, voters are encouraged to read the General Plan document, as well as the Information Pamphlet.
